For those who are in the southeast right now, are you leaving your mowers outside during the cold spell or are they up for the winter? I am taking my chances and leaving mine out. Thoughts?

I will take my customers robots in for the winter but on my personal property I love to test the bots I have close by. I’ve had several Husqvarna units stay outside all winter. Most times I get limited use below freezing temperatures, probably due to Li-Ion batteries. I am currently stress testing the Segway Navimow H Series and Sunseeker bots. Segway quit at about 25 degrees. Sunseeker is still operational.

Do any of those have temperature settings like commercial units? Are there settings on the app?
If it’s husqvarna you should get a battery temperature alert
In my experience if it is just a temporary cold snap, you can leave mowers outside. I would just recommend not operating the units when temps are below 40F. It is harmful for the battery to be operated at low temps and also at extremely high temps.
